Ingredients
  • 1½ to 2 lbs lean ground beef or turkey
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 small cabbage, chopped
  • 2 cans (14.5 oz each) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp sea salt
Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add ground beef and onion and cook until meat is no longer pink and onion is tender.
  3. Add garlic and continue cooking for 1 minute.
  4. Add chopped cabbage, tomatoes, tomato sauce, water pepper and salt and bring to a boil.
  5. Cover and simmer for 20-30 minutes, or until cabbage is tender.
